12:05 am	Kevin Orie likes ice cream Kevin came over today. He about ate all of my ice cream. I had to tell him that this ain't no Baskin Robbins. Dang guy wanted 31 flavors and all. Now that we both got retired we got alot of time to get that boat in the water. Heres a photo of it. I've been thinking about a bigger motor but Kevin wants to use sails. I think that's kinda gay. 9:48 am	I logged into my yahoo mail today and noticed that jepeavy44 sent me annoying spam saying that I hadn't updated in two weeks. Well Jake while you were away playing in the World Baseball Classic (and giving up the gopher ball to Mexican guys I've never heard of) I've been looking for a contract. I don't know if anything is going to come of it but I'd like to hope that I can latch on somewhere. Anyway how are things going Jake? Tell Ryan Klesko I said hi. I miss playing with you guys. 12:58 am	I did get my pay check Sorry I hadn't posted in a while. I saw that d_mientkiewicz replied to one of my previous posts about the Mariners not playing me since the break and I wanted to let everyone know that I did recieve my pay check earlier this week. The Hansen household will keep the electricity on and the car filled with gas. Well unless gas goes up another two dollars then everyone will be riding those bikes I bought two summers ago. 10:19 pm	Defensive replacement? I thought I was better then this. I'm a pinch hitter. Not a defensive replacement. Theres a huge difference. d_mientkiewicz is a defensive replacement. Dave Hansen is a pinch hitter. So Grover goes and uses Ramon Santiago to pinch run for Richie Sexson. Santiago can't play first base. So what happens? Yea this pinch hitter goes out and plays first base for a little while. Don't get me wrong I like being on the diamond but I'm not a defensive replacement. 1:57 am	sometimes I feel ignored We won 4-1 but I didn't get to play. Greg Dobbs started at DH, he did go 1/2 with 2 walks and had those two RBI's but still how am I going to get any interest this off season if I don't finish with an above .200 batting average? As bad as it is I need to go two for my next two... or atelast three for my next six. Why did I have to start out 1/9... When you enter June hitting .111 things are supposed to get better! Ok Joe Blanton for the A's tomorrow. I've never faced him and lefties are hitting just .224 against him. Looks like I'll be working the consession stand in section 426 again tomorrow. 11:05 am	I got an AB last night Last night wasn't a good night for the Mariners. We dropped a game to the Rangers 7-3. I got to pinch hit last night in the 9th for Rene Rivera. Rivera's a nice guy and had two hits already in the game but he's not clutch like me. Sadly, I struck out with two men on. I feel a bit defeated. This is the time I shine.
